This Saturday, December 10th, from 10:30am to 12:00pm, the Millvale Community Library will be hosting a special adult maker program on book binding with BatCat Press!

BatCat Press is the only high school student-run printing press in the whole country, and we are lucky enough to have them coming to teach us how to bind books! We will be making small hardcover book ornaments (3″x4″) which can be used to record holiday memories from years’ past, and hung on your tree!

Those interested can register here. This program is free, but a $5/person donation is suggested, to help our artists pay for materials and travel costs.

We are really excited to welcome the folks from BatCat to the MCL, and we hope to see you there!
