Sidewalks and Walkability and Bikes, Oh My!

Millvale is honored to be one of the three Greater Pittsburgh communities chosen for Lively Pittsburgh’s Walkability Project. As an initiative of Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh, the project aims to help communities make streets and sidewalks safer and more accessible for all. It does this through community engagement in data collection, and through a lively, pop-up street demonstration called the Crossings. The Crossings is a lively and fun way to bring attention to the importance of safe intersections for all.
