Meet Sam Kieffer
Saturday, August 25, 1:00 PM
Sam Kieffer is 9 years old and lives in Cheswick. He is an extraordinary student, writer, reader and creator. When he is not avidly reading, creating poetry and stories, he is busy being a big brother to his little brother and sister. Sam has a strong passion for helping those around him. His summers are filled with setting up his Save the Brains lemonade stand in honor of his father, who suffers from an Epidermoid Brain Tumor. Recently, Sam made the decision to begin a Blessing’s Box within his community. He made it his duty to replenish toiletries and food items for those less fortunate than him.

Art & Comedy Fundraiser Gala
Friday, August 31, 7 PM
Join Millvale Community Library for our biggest fundraising event of the year! We’re taking over the beautiful Panza Gallery for a night of comedy, drinks, and art to raise money for our fall youth programs – in particular, our after-school meal program!
The event also includes an auction of art made by the kids in our Maker Programs! The walls of Panza Gallery will be taken over for the night by art that anyone would want on their refrigerators (or in their livingrooms, galleries, etc.) We’ll be auctioning off the art, with the proceeds going straight to the artists. Starting at 8pm, we’ll have a comedy show with a stellar lineup, including:
and Paige Polesnak
This is a 21+ event. Admission is $10. Tickets are available at the door on the day of the event. You can also buy in advance at the library or online at https://mclgala.brownpapertickets.com/
